 FAULKNER CONTEST:  HELEN ARGERS' POEM 'DEAD MAN TALKING' WAS SELECTED AMONG ALL THE ENTRANTS AS A SHORT LIST FINALIST.  2011

             HELEN ARGERS’ NEW NOVEL ALSO ANNOUNCED AS A

            2011  FINALIST FOR THE FAMED FAULKNER COMPETITION

It was just announced by the esteemed international William Faulkner Creative Writing Competition of over several thousand professional writers from many countries to all the states in the Unites States that Helen Argers novel, “ALL JEWELED CHOKERS”was on the select short list finalist.   Also, her poem, “DEAD MAN TALKING” was also on the short list finalists for Poetry.  

“All Jeweled Chokers” is a historical novel that takes place in Victorian times in England about the young ladies who have just been decorated by Queen Victoria who become the victims of strangulation that mocks the current vogue set by Princess Alexandra’s wearing  jeweled chokers. 

ANNOUNCED:  THE ROBERT FROST POETRY CONTEST NOTIFIED     HELEN ARCHERIS    (AKA HELEN ARGERS)      THAT SHE WAS THE SECOND PLACE WINNER   IN THAT  PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL CONTEST-- FOR   HER POEM : "A MOMENT IN WINTER"

         The announcement read:  "The studios of Key West would like to congratulate your recent poem. . . placing in the Robert Frost
