2011 FINALIST FOR THE FAMED FAULKNER COMPETITION
It was just announced by the esteemed international William Faulkner Creative Writing Competition of over several thousand professional writers from many countries to all the states in the Unites States that Helen Argers novel, “ALL JEWELED CHOKERS”was on the select short list finalist. Also, her poem, “DEAD MAN TALKING” was also on the short list finalists for Poetry.
“All Jeweled Chokers” is a historical novel that takes place in Victorian times in England about the young ladies who have just been decorated by Queen Victoria who become the victims of strangulation that mocks the current vogue set by Princess Alexandra’s wearing jeweled chokers.
